— Why profiling
People don’t need to be the same. They need a shared language for how they’re different.
Different motives read as difficult personalities.
Strengths go unused when nobody has named them.
They lead the way they like to be led — which rarely fits everyone.
Without a common map, disagreement turns into blame.
— What the SDI® reveals
From a single leader’s SDI® debrief to a half-day SDI® Workshop for a whole department: every result is debriefed in person by an SDI certified facilitator, never just emailed.
Strength Deployment Inventory®
The SDI® assessment looks beneath behaviour to the motives that drive it: what each person values when things go well, and how that shifts in conflict. A practical work style assessment for everyday relationships, not a label.

The four views
How what you value shapes what happens when conflict starts, and how to get back to productive work sooner.
The behaviours you rely on to get results, and the point where too much of a good thing starts to cost you.
Understanding why people do what they do, so you can choose how to respond instead of reacting.
For whole teams
On the SDI Platform, the Teams and Compare functions put everyone’s results side by side: where the team is aligned, where it’s crowded, and the blind spots that keep repeating.

— In their words
Working with Ursula was a turning point as I prepared to return to work after time out raising a family. Using the SDI assessment and Core Strengths model, she helped me understand what motivates me, how I work best, and how I fit into a corporate environment. She guided me in translating my experience into a confident professional story and gave me practical strategies for communication and collaboration. I came away with renewed focus, confidence, and tools I use every day. Highly recommend.

— Questions
The Strength Deployment Inventory® (SDI®) is a validated assessment that shows the motives behind behaviour: what drives you when things are going well, how that changes in conflict, and the strengths you use, and sometimes overdo, to get results.
Use Find your fit above, or start with a short call. Individuals usually start with a one-to-one SDI® debrief, teams get the most from the half-day SDI® Workshop, and leaders can combine both with coaching.
It’s a half-day session for a team, in person or live online. Everyone completes the SDI® assessment beforehand, then we work through five lessons: Relationship Intelligence, Motives, Conflict, Strengths and Overdone Strengths. Each lesson mixes short teaching with group exercises, and the session ends with everyone using the SDI Conversation Planner to prepare for one working relationship they want to improve.
Your Motivational Value System (MVS) describes what drives you when things are going well. The SDI® assessment looks at three motives, People, Performance and Process, and how they blend into seven MVS types: Blue, Red, Green, Red-Blue, Red-Green, Blue-Green and Hub, which balances all three. No type is better than another; each brings something different to a team.
Not quite. DISC describes observable behaviour. The SDI® assessment goes a layer deeper, into the motives behind behaviour and how they shift in conflict.
The SDI® assessment is built for development, not selection. It supports better working relationships and performance conversations, but shouldn’t decide pay, promotion or hiring.
